My Saturday Afternoon Playdate -- Lexington, NC Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely family Saturday afternoon. My favorite kind of session, which is essentially a playdate for me (while I take photos along the way). This family has a great yard with an fabulous play fort that the daddy constructed himself. An ideal place for two boys to grow up!
I got so many photos that I really like, I am going to bombard you with my favorites.

What a lovely afternoon to spend outside taking pictures! A welcomed change from all the rain we had this week. I had the pleasure of taking some Christmas photos for a great family I know. I even snapped a few at the end of their sweet doggie. :-)

C-ville. -- Lexington, NC Family Photography

Headed to C-ville to take pics of some sweet friends. They have a beautiful piece of land full of that long wild grass that I love. I managed to make it through the shoot, despite my right neck/shoulder being in extreme pain (stress, pinched nerve, who knows?) Anybody know a great chiropractor in Lexington?

I love that we were able to include the family dogs in some shots. After all, dogs are family too, right?

Change of Plans -- Lexington, NC Child, Pet Photography

I had planned on doing a days worth of family photography at Hanging Rock State Park today. However, with the forecast of rain all day, I didn't want to risk 6 families driving over an hour for a miserable photoshoot.

So, weather permitting, Hanging Rock will happen next weekend. One family opted for their session to happen today, at their home. The rain stayed away here all afternoon, and left a nice cloud cover, perfect for shadow-free photography.

Little Miss R was a fabulous subject for my camera. I had a great time photographing her (and her parents), and their horse of a boxer... he is a sweetie pie! Stay tuned for some seriously cute pics in the next day or so. :-)
