Played around some outside with a birdbath that had marigolds growing in it. What can I say... it's a learning process. Trial and error is the best way I improve. The last photo is of big sister "M." Such sweet girls.

Today I had the great opportunity of taking newborn baby pictures! I had asked a friend if I could practice on her new baby girl, and I am thankful they let me... 'cause I NEED practice! Newborn photos are harder to accomplish than I thought (lighting, posing, cooperating baby, etc.).

Baby "H" is a beautiful baby as you can see, and she put up with me quite well. I was hoping to get some sleeping shots, but she was mostly awake the entire hour! But it turns out, I really like the photos of her eyes open, so I am glad she didn't want to miss any of the action.

This evening I had the pleasure of photographing some dear friends. "A" fits right in with my girls with her curls. She is gorgeous. And even though "E" wasn't in a smiley mood, his eyes are just amazing... and we did squeeze a few smiles out of him.
Thank you Wilson family for a fun evening and dinner too! Sorry about the chaos right at the end. Over tired kids are like ticking time bombs...unfortunately 3 of ours detonated ;-)

I started processing the Keaths photos tonight. I began with mostly individual shots of Abigail. Next time I'll post some of the family pictures. I am really loving color lately... years ago I favored black and white which is great for hiding blemishes and some photographs translate extremely well in that format... but I have been craving vibrant color lately! Besides... those blues eyes are BEAUTIFUL!!!
